What is medical transportation?
Medical transportation is transportation to and from medical-related appointments.
How do I schedule transportation?
Transportation can be scheduled by calling 319-214-3IMT (3468), emailing us at CustomerCare@Iowamt.com or filling out our online Request Form. For additional details on the information needed to schedule a pick-up, please see Services.
What are your standard hours of operation?
We offer transportation Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 7:00AM to 2 PM. Please call 319-214-3IMT (3468) to schedule transportation outside our standard hours of operation.
How far in advance do I need to schedule transportation?
In order to maintain reliable service, we require a 24-hour notice. If you have a last-minute need, please call 319-214-3IMT (3468). We will try to accommodate your request.
Do you offer transportation for stretchers?
Currently, we do not offer transportation for stretchers. However, this service may be added in the future. Please check back soon.
Do you offer door-to-door service?
Yes. We offer full door-to-door service to meet all of your needs.
Is there a wait time?
We do everything we can to ensure that you are picked up in a timely manner. Due to the fluctuation in appointment times, there could be a slight delay in pick-up for the return trip home. See Services for additional information.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
Do you allow a companion?
Yes, and there is no additional fee.
